Reading Reading on BCTV

Reading Reading on BCTV, our show where we talk with playwrights and read new plays, airs this week – Tuesday, May 17, 6:30pm on TV or streaming at BCTV.org!

This month’s playwright is Bruce Walsh and we are thrilled to introduce you to him. His play, Brambles, is surprising and moving – you’ll love it.

Since receiving his MFA in playwriting from Indiana University Bloomington in 2017, Bruce Walsh’s plays have been produced around the country, winning the Heideman Award, the Kennedy Center’s Gary Garrison National Ten Minute Play Award, and the Maxim Mazumdar New Play Competition. In a previous life, he was a longtime arts reporter for the Philadelphia Metro and City Paper. He currently teaches literature and creative writing at Messiah University. He lives in Elizabethtown, PA, with his wife and son.
